Berry Peanut Butter Honey Pancakes Snacks for the Kids!

It’s summertime and for parents that means the kids will be home eating up all of your groceries like crazy! On top of that, we all know that all things sweet is typically the go-to and we gotta create some balance with that so that there isn’t a sugar overload happening.

So what can you do to balance that and still manage some peace? I have a quick and easy recipe that fills belly’s and satisfies those sweet cravings without the overload of processed sugar. On top of that, incorporating whole fresh foods into their diets.

Most kids LOVE some pancakes, I know my two toddler girls do. So what I did was combined their love for pancakes and sandwiched in some ingredients that are tasty, healthy, affordable and easy to make.

Not only are you satisfying those sweet cravings, but making sure the babies have quality whole foods and protein with a natural sweetener.

Okay, so I’m sure we can all agree that pancakes don’t hold much nutritional value, buuuuuuuuutttt that’s just there to get their attention and be intrigued to eat!

I love buying mini frozen pancakes for my girls to have on hand at all times to be creative to cook with. Next, the creamy peanut butter is going to be a high quality protein to replace meats (because every meal does not require meat), but also to fill their belly so they aren’t reaching for the fridge an hour later.

Next you’re going to top with some sliced bananas (great for fiber) and your favorite fresh berries, I chose raspberries and blueberries as great sources of antioxidants and natural sweetness.

The banana is going add to that sweetness, but it also helps regulate bowels! Listen, as a mom you gotta be thinking big and smart lol. I need some regular poops happening in this household to prevent getting a little clogged up!

Drizzle a little (or a lot) of honey and cinnamon and there you have quality filling snack for your babies. The goal is to always make sure the kids are eating whole foods so that they are growing happy and healthy!

This quick and delicious snack should take no more than 15 minutes to prep and make, and is a great snack to have in between breakfast and lunch.

I hope you guys enjoy this recipe/ snack idea and comment below and tell me your thoughts if you give this recipe a try!
