Why Herbal Tea Has Been My Favorite Thing in My Everyday Routine

I am a true coffee lover. First thing in the am I need my cup of Joe to get me going, but over the years I have truly found a love for herbal teas. By all means it will NEVER take over my morning routine with with coffee bae, but midday I can honestly say I love adding it for whatever medicinal benefits I need to add in my body.

I have never been a fan of taking a bunch of pharmaceutical drugs if I am not dying or in extreme pain. If it’s anything else, I love to grab a great tea blend to fix it and get the job done. I just have always felt that most of our body’s needs are provided with ingredients of the earth and I have no issue using them. Here are a few of my favorite herbal teas and blends:

Raspberry Leaf Tea

Raspberry Leaf Tea has been amazing for me for my normal life and supported me a lot in my pregnancy. It’s multi-beneficial for women who suffer intense period cramps. It strengthens the uterus to lessen or reduce the pain from menstrual cramps. Speaking of strengthening your uterus, it’s amazing for pregnancy and preparing your uterus for labor. Many women have even spoken how it has quickened labor for them.

Lactation Tea Blends

As a new nursing mama I try to do my best at using whatever I need to do to maintain my milk supply for my baby girl. So far the Pink Stork brand has been one of my overall favorite brands that makes organic herbal teas that my body needed during pregnancy and postpartum. However, I must say that that the smooth vanilla lactation tea from Pink Stork is my overall favorite, especially with the taste.

Lemon Ginger Tea

I am a lover of drinking my water with lemons and just about addicted to all things ginger, so why not combine the two? Lemon Ginger tea is a power house of ingredients of things that effect my everyday life. The combination of the two gives me hydration, vitamin c, aids in weight loss, helps improve skin, reduces inflammation, eases muscle pain and eases cold and flu symptoms.

Cannabis Leaf Tea

Within the past decade, studies have shown how beneficial the cannabis plant is for our health and overall well being. I am all for cannabis and its benefits so what better way to have it than some good old soothing tea. Some of the benefits are reducing chronic pain, relieves anxiety and depression, and eases nausea.

Would you give any of these teas a try? If not, what are some of for favorite herbal blends?
