Daily Habits You Need to Try to Keep Your Immunity Healthy During the Winter Months
Keeping your immunity healthy isn’t as complex as you think. Typically people wait until they are actually sick to start taking action to their systems and signs as they progress, but there are some easy and healthy daily habits that can help prevent that. We are all aware that the cooler months are known for flu season, and of course there is still a global pandemic going on with new variants of COVID happening.
Here is a list of daily habits to try to add to your routine to help with your immunity.
Smoothies & Smoothie Bowls
Whether its for breakfast, lunch, or a mid day pick me up snack, a smoothie and/or a smoothie bowl is an amazing way to get your daily does of fruits and veggies to protect your immunity. Especially leafy greens (kale, spinach, etc,) and berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries). Just one of these a day will get you onto the right track building your immunity.
Consume Elderberry
There are so many ways you can take elderberry these days, syrup, gummies or even the actual elderberry itself. However you choose to consume it is totally on you, but it’s loaded with so many benefits. Between all of the antioxidants and vitamins, you will truly be setting up your immunity for greatness with these tasty berries.
Take Ginger Shots
One of the best foods to protect your immunity. You can either purchase ginger shots at a local juice spot, or make them at home yourself. Take some ginger, lemon and turmeric and you’ll have a super blend of ingredients for your immunity.
Take Your Probiotic
This has been one of the best life changers for myself and my household. Probiotics are pretty much an essential for our health and it’s been helping our immunity stay nice and strong. We all are exposed to different types of bacteria on the daily, but probiotics help keep the good bacteria and rids your body of the bad bacteria.
These are just simple steps ,but staying happy and healthy and having healthy habits is the key.
Stay happy and healthy during these winter months!
Xoxo,
