S’mores Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

I feel like any month that ends with “BER” requires to have s’mores involved. This recipe has been in my stash for a little while and I figured I’d share it just in time for the “BER” or holiday season.

Nothing takes you back to childhood like a good old s’more! This is just another way to have one of your favorite tasty sweets part of those fun friends and family memories.


S’more Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe:

The Cookie Base

- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar

- 3/4 Brown Sugar

- 1 teaspoon Salt

- 1/2 Cup Butter Melted

- 1 Egg

- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

- 1 1/4 All-Purpose Flour Sifted

- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda

- 4oz @nestletollhouse Semi-Sweet Morsels

- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

- 1/4 Cup @honeymaidsnacks Cinnamon graham crackers

The Toppings

@hersheys Milk Chocolates

@honeymaidsnacks Cinnamon graham cracker (1 cup square broken into large chunk pieces)

@kraftjetpuffed Mini Marshmallows

@ghirardelli White Vanilla melting wafers

Instructions:

1. Combine sugars, butter, egg and vanilla extract and mix on medium speed with a hand mixer until fluffy.

2. Slowly add in baking soda, salt and slowly add in flour. Mix on low speed until dough forms.

3. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. Try 1 hour for a good firm dough.

4. Make 1.5 inch (or bigger) scoops and bake on a non - stick baking sheet (lined with parchment paper is my favorite) and bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes until golden brown on edges.

5. Place a few @hersheys milk chocolate squares and @kraftjetpuffed on top of cookies.

6. Right after pulling cookies out of oven while still hot, place a few squares of @hersheys milk chocolate and a few @kraftjetpuffed mini marshmallows on top of the cookie.

7. Use a hand torch to roast your marshmallows and melt your chocolate a little bit. Don’t get too crazy because you can still burn the chocolate, but a tiny bit of a few pieces won’t hurt.

8. Stick a few pieces of @honeymaidsnacks Cinnamon Graham crackers in between the sticky and roasted mini marshmallows.

9. Melt the @ghirardelli White vanilla flavored wafers and drizzle on top of cookies to finish.

5. Let cool for 20-30 minutes on cooling rack before storing.
