Focaccia’s Breakfast & Brunch - Toledo, OH

So I had a Sunday Funday a few weeks back and finally made a quick breakfast stop over at Focaccia’s in downtown Toledo. I feel like after moving back I am still re-learning the city, and this is a breakfast joint that has been on my list to visit.

We started off with some of the beignets, coffee and mimosa flights! Hell of a combo, right?? lol

The Mimosa Flights were EVERYTHING! If we didn’t have somewhere to be then I would have for sure had a few more rounds of flights. I really enjoyed the options of all of the fun and tasty flavors they had on the menu (listed below if you need a sneak peek!)

The beignets were soft, fluffy and delicious, but after visiting Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans I am used to a golden brown extra large fluffy pastry. Don’t get me wrong, it was tasty and delicious, but tasted more so of a modernized version with their own spin which I am still not mad at.

My Deal Breaker…

I am all here for the main dishes at a breakfast & brunch restaurant, but the main thing I am always going to judge is how good those scrambled eggs are and if that breakfast sausage is any good. That right there could be a deal breaker on if I am coming back!

Final Thoughts…

Great service, great food, and a live dj. The food was amazing and I can’t wait to go back for more.

I highly recommend you get there before 10am because it gets pretty busy and the wait can be a bit long. The prices aren’t bad and are pretty reasonable so check it out for your next brunch date or Sunday Funday!

Xoxo,
