This was our first time visiting this small little joint in Baltimore, but since it was a Triple D (Diner’s, Drive In’s, and Dives) favorite on Food Network we had to go for the hubs birthday.

Walking up to the door of this place you are smacked in the face with the delightful smell of cinnamon and cooked bread. I literallly thought I was walking into Heaven with the aroma of cinnamon in the air with it being one of my favorite spices. If only you could imagine how giddy and excited I was like a five year old at Disney World. Yes darlings, it’s that serious with food for me!! Hahahahaa!

The hubs ordered a short stack of the Captain Crunch French Toast and the Biscuits and Gravy. I guess he was feeling frisky off his Keto and was all in.

Since it was the hubs big born day, they gave us their Homemade Cinnamon Roll on the house as a gift. I can’t even explain the love connection this Cinnamon Roll had once we locked eyes. It was hot and steam just surrounded it as you could tell it was fresh fresh.

The icing was dripping (drip drip) down onto the plate. Just three bites of this Cinnamon Roll filled my little belly, but I knew there was more room I had to save for this French Toast!

I just ordered a short stack of the French Toast with a side order of eggs and sausage cause that’s just how this little momma has to roll for breakfast.

This Captain French Toast was so damn good that we didn’t even put syrup on it. We didn’t even pick it up to try because it was so flavorful and perfect as is.

Now I must say that by all means this isn’t the place to bring a large group of people. It’s a bit on the small side, so a date with you and bae or your bestie is probably the move. The service was amazing here and everyone was so nice from the moment we walked in the door. Yeah we all were right and close inside, but it was overall a friendly atmosphere.
