My Superfoods packed Açaí Bowl Recipe

Over the past few years my husband and I have switched up a lot of different eating habits. One being the importance of eating organic and having your superfoods. If you’re unfamiliar, superfoods are usually plant-based foods that are packed with amazing nutrition. You can also get superfood with some fish and dairy also.

Now more than ever it’s important to eat these superfoods to better your health and reduce your possibilities of getting sick. The better you protect yourself from what you eat, everything else with your body will follow. You treat your body good and it will be good right back to you.

Here are all of the ingredients and benefits of this superfoods bowl of goodness in the order I made it:

The Base

The base of the entire bowl is açaí and dragon fruit blended together. depending on what I feel I need more of, I sometimes add some kale and spinach as a fun way of eating my leafy greens.

The Toppings

This literally my favorite part! The toppings can make or break a açaí bowl and you can style and customize it to your liking. Banana’s, strawberries and blueberries are pretty much essentials to every bowl I make. But for some texture I love adding some organic granola and honey to bring it all together.

You can literally play around with it and create this yummy treat as a fun healthy snack for yourself and the family to incorporate your daily servings of fruits and veggies.
